Casual dinnerware that serves multiple purposes and across several seasons is a gift. Maharana by 222 Fifth is such a pattern. It looks lovely in the fall as the leaves are turning, it works well as a Christmas pattern and continues to hold its own as winter wanes and one is longing for a fresh, but still warm, look.

This pattern has a selection of pieces, including some nicely sized regular mugs and some hefty tall latte mugs.  There are four different dinner plates in the set from which to choose. Here I’ve combined the two different salad plates with plain white Queen Anne Pillivuyt Porcelain dinner plates from Williams Sonoma. I believe the vivid green glasses and striped napkins were also from Williams Sonoma but have both been discontinued.

Wheelbarrow open salts from Pottery Barn years ago add a little item of interest.
