The glorious colours of fall are vibrantly represented in this vivid salad plate by Pier 1.

Deep oranges and crimson complement a clear tone bordering on acid green.

The multicoloured hues within a single leaf and the tracery of previously fallen and now shattered leaves are very realistic. Simply beautiful.

I pulled together an equally exuberant bouquet with preserved oak leaves from Save on Crafts.

They also supplied the little green pumpkin vase fillers. So cute!

Mr Squirrel came out to cavort among the leaves.

His cheeky little expression is exactly like a real squirrel. You can almost see the darting movements.

Wine Martillo dinner plates from Pier 1 joined gold chargers from Pottery Barn, with acid green glasses and striped napkins from Williams Sonoma, all from several years ago.

The Wood Handled Flatware is from World Market. While not as heavy as many of their other flatware sets, the handles have a lovely smooth feel in the hand.

It’s a wild and blustery day here today, with leaves whirling all around; the wind whipping through the trees is bracing and uplifting. I can’t wait to get out for my daily constitutional to enjoy the bright sunshine. I’ll need a scarf, for sure!

I’m sharing this post with Between Naps on the Porch.
