The glorious colours of fall are vibrantly represented in this vivid salad plate by Pier 1.
Deep oranges and crimson complement a clear tone bordering on acid green.
The multicoloured hues within a single leaf and the tracery of previously fallen and now shattered leaves are very realistic. Simply beautiful.
I pulled together an equally exuberant bouquet with preserved oak leaves from Save on Crafts.
They also supplied the little green pumpkin vase fillers. So cute!
Mr Squirrel came out to cavort among the leaves.
His cheeky little expression is exactly like a real squirrel. You can almost see the darting movements.
Wine Martillo dinner plates from Pier 1 joined gold chargers from Pottery Barn, with acid green glasses and striped napkins from Williams Sonoma, all from several years ago.
The Wood Handled Flatware is from World Market. While not as heavy as many of their other flatware sets, the handles have a lovely smooth feel in the hand.
It’s a wild and blustery day here today, with leaves whirling all around; the wind whipping through the trees is bracing and uplifting. I can’t wait to get out for my daily constitutional to enjoy the bright sunshine. I’ll need a scarf, for sure!
I’m sharing this post with Between Naps on the Porch.
A stunning table! I saw those salad plates at Pier 1 and actually had 4 in my hand before I resisted and thought, “Your china closet is full! Stop!” But, your table is tempting me to head back to the store! You’ve created such a pretty table for fall.

I didn’t need them either, Rosie; I know exactly what you mean! I’ve got something similar from Pier 1; it’s got turquoise as the blue/green. I really liked the clear acidy green on these. I am using them both this fall. They might go on clearance soon, so you could perhaps get a good deal?
One of my favorite fall tables! Pretty, simple, elegant. Lovely blend of colors and components.
Thanks, Sandra! Isn’t it funny how sometimes a lot less is more? There really wasn’t anything to this one, but the quality of the renderings on the plates really made it.
Those vibrant colors are really terrific. I like how you repeat the colors from the salad plates in the dinner plates, the chargers and the glassware. The leaves as the centerpiece is perfect.
This Fall colors are gorgeous and vibrant ! I love this pretty table and the salad plates are perfect and festive.
