I wish lilac season wasn’t so short. They smell so divine and lend themselves to almost effortless arrangement.
Some colleagues were coming over for dinner, so I took the lead from the lilac’s purple tones and chose a fresh spring green tablecloth from Williams Sonoma and pulled out china in the Stafford Flowers pattern by Spode. The delicate etching on the Rosepoint crystal by Cambridge echoed the light spring theme.
