The tableware for our Cape house is fairly casual, and the colour palette is mainly “beachy” – shades of blue, turquoise, and sand with touches of tomato red.
These French Faience dessert plates fit the bill perfectly. A set of twelve, each one features a French musical score, from La Dame Blanche to Robin Hood (the French version, of course). They’re whimsical, casual and fun.
Here I’ve combined them with antique turquoise Venetian and Optic Rib goblets and coordinating candlesticks from Elise Abram Antiques. The white dinner plates are modern, Pillivuyt Queen Anne Porcelain from Williams Sonoma. The charger and napkins are from Pottery Barn.
I’m sharing this post with Between Naps on the Porch.
Love those plates!
I like things simple and colorful! These are cute dishes and I’ve never seen them before. The stemware is so pretty- love their color!
Thanks, Liz! We use the stemware a lot in the summer. It’s really quite versatile! Thanks for stopping by.
