Several years ago I came across this set of hand-painted Moser goblets, champagne cups and bowls.
The soft pastel shades and delicately wrought flowers intrigued me. Each piece is slightly different, in size, shape and the execution of the painting itself.
The Flora Danica tureens echo the flora motif on the glassware.
The handles on the tureens are beautifully detailed.
I’ve accompanied the more elaborate goblets and tureens with plain gold and white antique Spode dessert plates underlaid with Royal Doulton gilded age service plates.
It’s a set that cries out to be used in natural surroundings, complete with golden retriever, Ben.
I’m sharing this post with Between Naps on the Porch.
Simply elegant! I love, love the crystal pieces. Such a nice pairing instead of the expected cut or etched stemware.

Thanks, Sandra. I fell in love with the set the minute I saw it. Such soft, fresh spring colours. Thanks for visiting.
I thought the glassware was beautiful until I saw those gorgeous tureens.
What a lovely table.
Thanks so much, Myrna. I do love floral patterns, and the combination of this glassware and the tureens is one of my favourites. Thanks for visiting!
The tureens are beautiful!

Thanks, Linda. I’ve done a bit of research on Flora Danica and really enjoyed learning about all the different pieces in the pattern – there are hundreds! All with their own unique, handpainted botanical.
They are so pretty…my mother would have loved them too
Such a girly-girl table. 🙂
