We’ve been given a bit of a reprieve with continued warm fall weather. Lucky us!  Enjoying a mid-week meal of Fusilli with Ricotta and Spinach and Plum Crumble with the family, I reached for Pier One’s new Verona set.

The bowls are the most delightful shape – absolutely perfect for pasta. The pattern features pears and plums, those wonderful fall fruits, and is in rich tones of gold, deep red and purple.

I chose Juliska’s Colette glasses in plum (still on loan from Kirsten…) to highlight the purple, and added baskets of plums in Hartley Greens creamware I’ve had for years. 

The table came together very quickly and we enjoyed the weather while it lasted.
