I thought it might be fun to do a recap of favourite Christmas china and glassware from years past and some from this year. These settings are a mix of formal “pull out all the stops” and more casual, let’s just have a snack in the kitchen. Starting at the top left hand corner of the collage and working clockwise, here are pictures and links to the original blog posts:
Green and Gold for Christmas
Enjoy! I’ll do another recap next week. We are really getting down to the short strokes in preparing for Christmas.
I am sharing this post with Between Naps on The Porch.
Beautiful inspiration here! Happy Holidays!
Thanks! Please accept my wishes for a wonderful Holiday season to you and yours.
How wonderful to have so many choices of Christmas dishes. Each of the tables was absolutely beautiful. And lovely accessories and centerpieces. Very, very nice. Merry Christmas!
Thanks so much, Lorri! Merry Christmas to you and yours, also. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
How delightful, it would be very hard to pick a favourite. Merry Christmas to all of you. I shall enjoy watching for the Christmas table for this year. It is bound to be spectacular.
Merry Christmas to you, too! I hope you enjoy your season with two delicious new grand babies 🙂
All the table settings are soooo pretty! I am crushing on photo 1 (red) and 3’s (gold) gorgeous stemware. Would you be so kind to tell me the manufacturers and pattern names, if you know? Thanks and happy holidays.
Hi Bobbi. I’m so glad you like the settings. The red stemware is antique Venetian glass, and I don’t have a specific manufacturer. I bought it at an antique store in Cape Cod about five years ago. The gold stemware is Moser Maharani, also antique. I got my original pieces about a decade ago from Country Dining Room Antiques (now out of business). Elise Abrams Antiques had some very similar red goblets when I last visited her shop, and she was also able to get me some more of the Maharani stemware at one point. Good luck! Have a wonderful holiday season.
