Willow was released by Pier 1 in 2016, and I picked it up then for the Cape house, attracted to the combination of fall colours and the teal accents.

Like so many of their patterns, it was here-today-gone-tomorrow, so I’m glad I snagged it when I did.

The weather was still quite glorious when I styled and shot this table, and the bright sunshine sparkled through the glassware,

The pattern begged for a leaf decor, and Save-on-Crafts came to the rescue. There were no coloured leaves in the Cape at the time (nor will there be much of a display, actually; it’s not what the Cape is known for).  You want fall leaves, acorns, moss, putka pods or pheasant feathers? They’ve got ’em! They also provided the burlap runners. 

Yes, I might have gotten a bit carried away. But I had a blast!

The dried fruit is actually from Pottery Barn, several years ago and Pier 1, this year (I got gold pears, but they seem to only have green on the website, so check your local store). 

The amber glasses are from Williams Sonoma several years ago. The amber stemmed depression glass is Julia by Tiffin. I got these at Replacements, but cleaned them out of their water glasses (used as wine glasses). You can sometimes find the pattern on e-Bay.

Don’t you love a table that just begs you to sit down and join the party?

The Wheaton Stripe napkins are from Pottery Barn this year (currently on sale!). The copper wire napkin rings are from Amazon. 

Willow came with a dinner plate, salad plate, dinner bowl and mug. And then it was gone. I thought they might bring it back this year, but no such luck. Pier 1 did produce the copper coloured charger plate, though, so redeemed themselves somewhat.

The flatware is Twig from World Market. 

I do love fall with its mellow light, sometimes warm days, and chilly evenings by the fire.
