How serendipitous to find a wine bottle with a label that provided such a whimsical accent to your table. Il Bastardo, made me laugh, a good start to any meal. Now I’m trying to figure out how one would best preserve that bottle with it’s label for future use. A very amusing table.

Please call me Helen! I was thoroughly amused by the name of the wine, also, and asked the waitress to give it to us when the meal was over. I just rinsed it thoroughly with soap and water, and it seems to have held up very well, tucked away in the cupboard with a bunch of other tableware accoutrements. Thanks so much for joining!
