The set inspired me to make some Sugar Cookies.
My daughter Kirsten gave me the pink and white crackle-glazed bunnies last year for Easter.
They fit right in!

Easter is one of my very favourite holidays. It’s so hopeful, even if it arrives in advance of any spring weather.
I know in England, the lambs will be frolicking in the fields. While we are driving around, I keep a weather eye out for lambs that are close enough for us to photo. The Mums are warier, but the little ones come trotting up to see what we are all about.
Who can resist those little faces? Adorable.

We came home to Ontario about a week ago and were greeted with piles of snow in which large boughs of white pine trees were buried. Successive storms of wet, heavy snow had snapped the boughs, and before they could be cleared, another dumping of snow arrived. What a mess… The temperatures are up into the high 40s now, and the snow is finally retreating. So a long, sunshine-filled walk with the dogs is on the menu today.

Cute bunnies! I actually gifted Easter cookie cutters, pastel Spring sprinkles, carrot whisk, bunny spatula and baking sheet to a sweet lady who recently discovered baking as a hobby. Your sugar cookies are fab, Helen. Another foot of snow yesterday here, yay Spring??! LOL

Thanks, Lauren. I’ve had those Estelle plates forever. They work in numerous combinations, and I really love all the shapes—fruit bowls, teapots, etc.
Dear Helen, It”s spring here in coastal PT, and I am also setting my table in blue and white, but with coral and shells and exuberant Portuguese china. I”m not quite ready for bunnies yet–I”m still blowing and decoupaging eggs. Our orange trees are blooming, and their perfume wafts in through the open doors. I have admired Estelle before; such a delicate pattern, but still not lost in those checks and the ornately embroidered serviettes. Lovely!
