Glass flip-top jar filled with homemade apple chips, perfect for snacking or adding to autumn salads.

Apple Chips

Ingredients

  • Honeycrisp, Pink Lady or Fuji Apples

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice a firm apple (Fuji or Honeycrisp work well) with a mandoline or sharp knife.
  2. Lay the slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 110°C or 225°F for 1½–2 hours, turning once halfway through, until crisp and golden. Let cool completely — they’ll continue to crisp as they cool.

Notes

Don’t hesitate to make extra apple chips. They take very little effort and keep beautifully in an airtight jar. I tucked my leftovers into a flip-top Mason jar and discovered them months later—still crisp and ready to add a sweet, crunchy touch to salads.
