What fun! London, New York, Paris and Venice are certainly among my favourite cities to visit. Without leaving home, even!

Even more so when our whirlwind adventure includes vintage luggage.

It’s hard to remember which came first in the inspiration. The Rosanna plates (eBay) or the luggage?

Salt and pepper shakers comprise a leather grip and a colourful toiletry bag.

The traveller’s teapot is even more fun:

A miniature leather trunk bag and some fragrant viburnum completed the centrepiece.

Let’s start our journey in London, shall we? The Tower of London beside the Thames River, Big Ben and a member of the Queen’s Guard greet us.

Shall we fly, or take the Chunnel over to Paris to enjoy a lovely meal on a sidewalk cafe?

On to Venice for a relaxing gondola ride near the Rialto Bridge and down to St. Marco’s square.

Before we board the S.S. Martin for our journey back to New York to visit the Statue of Liberty.

Whew!  I’m tired and thirsty. Time to enjoy a beverage in Fitz & Floyd Trestle glasses in Indigo.

We will use Sawyer flatware from World Market.

The cheerful plaid tablecloth from HomeGoods reminds us of the ocean blue.

Has all the luggage made it off the ship? One, two, three, four, five bags. Yes, we’ve got it all.

Time for a light meal to celebrate our homecoming. Oh, which city was our favourite? London?

Romantic Paris?

Colourful Venice?

Or vibrant New York?

East or West, Home is Best.
