When I began photographing my first book, Entertablement—The Four Seasons, I had no idea it would lead to a second, Entertablement—Much Depends on Dinner, and now, a third volume, Entertablement—Twelve Months at the Table.

Each book has reflected an exploration of the beauty, history, and rhythm of entertaining. The Four Seasons celebrated the visual artistry of the table — the play of light, china, and flowers across the year. Much Depends on Dinner looked behind the curtain, tracing how food, domestic life, and social change shaped the way we cook and gather. And this newest book, Twelve Months at the Table, brings those threads together — a full year’s worth of tablescapes, menus, and inspirations that celebrate the joy of gathering through the seasons.

After months of styling, photographing, editing, formatting, and occasionally swearing muttering at my computer, Entertablement—Twelve Months at the Table is finally here.

From the frost-touched calm of January suppers to the golden warmth of autumn dinners, each chapter reflects the flow of the seasons — the subtle shifts in light, flowers, and fabric that make entertaining such a reflection of life itself.

I’m enormously grateful to everyone who has followed along on this journey — from the readers and recipe testers who cheered through the first book, to those who wrote asking, “When’s the next one coming out?” Well, here it is!
